Classic Club Sandwich
Ingredients
- 3slices white Pullman loafabout 1/2-inch thick
- 3tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1/2tablespoon mustardoptional
- 2large leaves greenleaf lettuce
- 3ounces cooked turkey breast meatthickly sliced
- 6strips thick-cut baconcooked until crisp
- 1large beefsteak tomatoessliced, about 6 ounces
- a/n coarse salt
- a/n black pepper

Instructions
- Toast bread in 2 batches over medium heat, about 5 minutes, turning once halfway through cooking.
- Spread one side of each bread slice with mayonnaise and mustard.
- Arrange 1 lettuce leaf on 1 piece of mayo-mustard-spread toast.
- Top with turkey, and 3 slices of bacon. Then another piece of toast, then lettuce, bacon, and tomatoes.
- Season tomatoes with salt and pepper.
- Top with remaining slices of toast and secure each with 4 frill picks.
- Cut each sandwich in quarters.
- Serve.
