Ingredients
  • 2pounds Yukon Gold potatoes(4-6 medium), cut into 1-inch chunks, rinsed well, and drained
  • 4tablespoons buttercold
  • a/n coarse salt
  • 6ounces milkwarm

Instructions
  1. Place the potatoes in a pot with cold water
  2. Simmer potatoes until tender. Note: check them using a knife or fork.
  3. Rice the cooked potatoes into a large pot and, using a rubber spatula fold in the cold butter.
  4. Stir in enough warm milk to desired consistency.
  5. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  6. Serve immediately or hold warm.
