Bananas Foster (1 serving)
Ingredients
- 1each bananacut in 1 inch pieces
- 1 1/2tablespoons butter
- 1/4cup brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tablespoons dark rum
- 1tablespoon banana liqueur
- 1/2tablespoon water
- squeeze fresh lemon juicejust a few drops
- 1scoop vanilla ice cream

Instructions
- Combine the butter and brown sugar in a flambé pan or skillet. Place the pan over low heat on top of the stove, and cook, whisking, until the sugar dissolves. about 1-2 minutes.
- Stir in the water and whisk. Stir in the rum and flambe. Add bananas and banana liqueur. Cook until the bananas begin to brown.
- Squeeze the lemon in and spoon the bananas out of the pan and onto a plate or bowl. Place one scoop of vanilla ice cream with bananas.
- Generously spoon warm sauce over the top of the ice cream and serve immediately.
