Grilled Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts

Ingredients
  • 16-ounce chicken breastsboneless, skinless, tender removed
  • a/n coarse salt
  • a/n black pepper
  • 2tablespoons olive oil

Instructions
  1. Preheat the grill with two temperature zones. Clean and oil the grilling grate.
  2. Dry chicken breasts with paper towels, season with salt and pepper, and brush lightly with olive oil.
  3. Place chicken on hot side of grill and cook until well browned, 3 to 5 minutes.
  4. Flip and continue to cook until second side is browned and chicken registers 160°F on an instant read thermometer.
  5. If second side browns before it registers 160°F, move to cool side of grill, cover, and let cook until chicken reaches temperature.
  6. Remove chicken from grill, let rest for 5 to 10 minutes, then serve immediately.
