Puttenesca Sauce
Ingredients
- Step 1: Preparing the Sauce
- 2 1/2cups Basic Pomodoro Sauce
- 1/4cup kalamata olivespitted and sliced
- 3tbsp capersstrained and rinsed
- 1/2each anchovy filletsvery small chop
- pinchpinch chile flakes
- 2tbsp fresh parsleyminced
- 1tbsp fresh basiltorn
- black pepperto tast
- salt to taste

Instructions
- To prepare the sauce, in a large fry pan, add the Pomodoro Sauce. Fold in the fresh basil, capers, olives, chile flakes and parsley.
- Next, place the pan on medium heat to warm up and combine all ingredients well. Cook for 3 minutes then remove from the heat.
- Serve over penne pasta
