Sautéed Mushrooms
Ingredients
- 1tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1tablespoon butter
- 4ounces cremini mushroomstrimmed and halved
- 2ounces shiitake mushroomsstemmed and sliced 1/2 inch thick
- a/n coarse salt
- a/n black pepper
- a/n thymefresh
- 1teaspoon shallotminced
- 1/2teaspoon garlicminced
- 1tablespoon water

Instructions
- Heat the oil in a medium sauté pan over medium heat and add the butter.
- Increase the heat to high and add the Cremini mushrooms and a pinch of salt. Sauté the Creminis for 3 to 5 minutes until starting to brown. Next add the Shiitake mushrooms and saute with the Cremini's until well browned, another 2 to 3 minutes.
- Add the shallot and sauté until softened.
- Add the thyme and the garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- De-glaze the pan with the 1 tablespoon of water if needed and cook until the water has evaporated.
- Season with salt and pepper and serve.
