Tuna Tataki

- 1lb sashimi grade yellowfin/ahi tuna
- 2tablespoons vegetable oil
- Tataki Sauce:
- 2each green onion/scallion1 onion = about 1 Tbsp chopped green onion
- 2inch ginger piece1" = about 1 tsp grated ginger
- 6tablespoons ponzusee recipe
- 1tablespoon sesame oil
- 2teaspoons soy sauce
- 2teaspoons white sesame seedsroasted/toasted

- Grate ginger and slice green onion thinly. Combine the rest of the Tataki sauce ingredients in a small bowl.
- Heat olive oil in a non-stick frying pan. When the oil is hot, sear the tuna 30 seconds on each side. When all sides are seared, remove from the heat and let it cool. Slice the tuna into 1/4 inch pieces. Pour the sauce and serve.
