Yield: Makes about 20 knots.
Ingredients:
- 1 pound pizza dough
- 1/4 cup garlic butter
Directions:
- Set the pizza dough out at room temperature for about 1 hour.
- Roll a small piece of dough into a ball.
- Roll the ball into a 1” thick rope.
- Cut the rope into 5” long pieces.
- Tie each piece into a knot.
- Set each knot down on a baking sheet.
- Brush each knot with a little olive oil.
- Loosely cover them with plastic wrap.
- Place in a warm area and let them rise until doubled in size.
- Preheat the oven to 400°.
- Bake the knots until browned,12-15 minutes.
- Brush with garlic butter and serve warm.
