Ingredients
  • 16 ounces canned pearl hominy
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1/2 cup sharp cheddar, grated
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons parsley, fresh

  2. In a skillet slowly heat hominy, water, cheese, and butter. season with salt and pepper. Continue to cook for a few minutes until the cheese has melted. Gradually add the milk and cook until it is thick and bubbly. finish with chopped parsley.
  3. You may keep warm for service or brown under a broiler.
