Buttered Hominy
Ingredients
- 16 ounces canned pearl hominy
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1/2 cup sharp cheddar, grated
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons parsley, fresh

- In a skillet slowly heat hominy, water, cheese, and butter. season with salt and pepper. Continue to cook for a few minutes until the cheese has melted. Gradually add the milk and cook until it is thick and bubbly. finish with chopped parsley.
- You may keep warm for service or brown under a broiler.
