Yield: 3 cups
Ingredients:
- 1 cup cake flour
- 1 teaspoon fine salt
- 1 cup club soda, cold
- ½ cup ice water
- 1 large egg yolk
Method:
- Combine the flour and salt; set aside.
- Combine wet ingredients in a medium-sized bowl.
- Add dry ingredients all at once to egg-water mixture; stir briefly, just enough to combine mixture.
- The batter will be lumpy. Do not over mix.
