Ingredients
  • 3oz thinly sliced beefchuck
  • 2oz brocolli floretsslightly blanched in salted water
  • 1oz water chestnuts
  • 1teaspoon toasted seseme seeds
  • 3oz cooked lo meinoptional
  • 1/2cup Brown Veal Stock
  • 1.5tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 2teaspoons dark soy sauce
  • 2teaspoons sugar
  • 1.5tablespoons corn flour or potato starch

Instructions
  1. 1. Cook lo mein and set aside (if using) 2. Saute beef and reserve. 3. Blanch broccoli in salted water for about 1 to 2 minutes. Broccoli should still be somewhat firm. Strain and set aside.
  2. Place veal stock, oyster sauce, soy sauce, sugar and corn flour in a small deli and shake to mix evenly.
  3. Put all the ingredients, except for the sesame seeds into a saute pan and bring to a boil. adjust season if needed. serve in a bowl or plate. top with sesame seeds and scallions.
