Part 1:
Each team of 4 students Starts and completes the following:
- 1 recipe Key Lime Pie
- 1 recipe Roasted Pork Loin (for cubano)
- 1 recipe Cubano Sandwich
- 1 recipe Paella
- 1 recipe Coconut Shrimp
- 1 recipe Ginger-Soy Dipping Sauce
- 1 recipe Rice Pilaf
- 1 recipe Pineapple-Avocado Salsa
- 1 recipe Hushpuppies
- Use remaining batter to create hushpuppies using different ingredients (e.g., ham, cheese, shrimp, vegetables, spices, aromatics, etc.).
Part 2:
Each student Individually completes the following:
- 1 recipe Fried Chicken (served with hushpuppies)
- 1 recipe Blackened Mahimahi (served with rice pilaf and pineapple salsa)
- 1 recipe Blackening Spice
